SEC Media Days in 2018 will be held at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, the convention introduced Friday.



The 2018 event will mark the primary time SEC Media Days will be held out of doors the Birmingham, Alabama, location when you consider that 1985.

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said the occasion will return to the Hyatt-Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Alabama, in 2019 and will possibly be held in various places in future years at the same time as making Hoover a periodic web site for the occasion because of its principal place inside the SEC footprint.

"SEC Football Media Days is a signature occasion for our convention and we are thrilled the town of Atlanta will host this kickoff to the 2018 college football season," said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey.  "SEC Football Media Days is now added to Atlanta's stock of fantastic occasions, which includes the yearly SEC Football Championship Game and this season's College Football Playoff Championship Game. We are looking ahead to constructing an exciting week subsequent July to feature our pupil-athletes and coaches."

During the four-day SEC Media Days occasion from July 16-19, the Hall of Fame will be home to the coaches' primary press meetings and serve as the live broadcast headquarters for both ESPN and the SEC Network.
The Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center, that's connected to the Hall of Fame, is the host motel for the occasion and could residence Radio Row and different media interviews and activities.
