Describing the Germans as “very powerful” physically, mentally and tactically, Sabella said Saturday that there’s no room for error. “We must play a perfect game,” Sabella said. Elborating on how to accomplish that, the 59-year-old coach turned poetic for a moment. “We will give everything we’ve got,” Sabella said. “Through humility, sacrifice, hard work, simplicity. (Reuters) - A high-level female Yahoo Inc executive has been sued in California by a woman who worked under her and is accusing her former boss of sexual harassment and wrongful termination.

Maria Zhang, a senior director of engineering at Yahoo Mobile, has been sued by Nan Shi, who worked as a principal software engineer in Yahoo from February 2013, according to a complaint filed on July 8 in Santa Clara Superior Court in San Jose, California...............more

(Reuters) - Iran has stuck to "unworkable and inadequate" positions in nuclear talks with six world powers despite a looming deadline for a deal to end sanctions against Tehran in exchange for curbs on its atomic program, a U.S. official said on Saturday.

"We are still very far apart on some issues and obviously on enrichment capacity," the senior U.S. administration official told reporters hours before Secretary of State John Kerry was due to arrive in Vienna to join the talks with Iran.

The major powers want Iran to scale back its nuclear program to deny it any capability to quickly produce atomic bombs. Iran says its activities are entirely peaceful and want crippling sanctions lifted as soon as possible................more

Rebel Attack:Colombia oil pipeline paralyzed  

(Reuters) - - Pumping of oil from one of Colombia's ‎most important pipelines, the Bicentenario, was paralyzed after an attack by leftist rebels, its operator said on Saturday.

The attack took place on Friday near the municipality of Fortul, in Arauca province, on the border with Venezuela. There were no injuries.

pipeline, jointly run by a group led by state oil company Ecopetrol and Pacific Rubiales, has capacity to transport 110,000 barrels a day along its 230 kilometers (144 miles) from oil fields in Colombia's eastern plains to the Cano Limon-Covenas pipeline.

The company did not provide an estimate for restarting operations. The pipeline crosses areas where there is a strong presence of the two main rebel groups, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, and the National Liberation Army, or ELN.........................................more

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM: The Israeli army has approved requests to evacuate 800 foreigners from the Gaza Strip.

Government coordinator Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai approved the requests and the foreigners will be evacuated Sunday through the Erez crossing, Israeli Yediot Aharonot newspaper reported.

Citizens of the U.S., Romania, Sweden, Norway, Britain, Turkey and Australia are expected to be among those evacuated from the Palestinian territory.....More
